Head Boy & Head Girl

School staff recently voted for our Head Girl and Head Boy:

Noor and Bilal have been appointed as Head Girl and Head Boy.

Hello, my name is Bilal I am the Head Boy at Rufford Primary School. I like being head boy as I can make a difference for the school. I want to make the school curriculum more interesting for the younger children so they aren't as nervous about coming to school. I have a very strong interest in Geography and History. I like learning about new things and seeing how things have changed throughout the years. When I was young I have always wanted to explore the world and when I am older I want to explore as many places in the world as I can. I am most looking forward to visiting Egypt and exploring all of the pyramids and learning a new culture. My favourite subjects are History and Geography of course but I also really enjoy Maths. I enjoy Maths because I like problem solving and working out the answers to the questions. I'm looking forward to this whole Year and everything the school has planned. I want to do as well as I can in my SATs and set a good example for the rest of the class. I have a club planned for later in the Year which will be about Ancient Egyptians.

Hi, my name is Noor I am the head girl at Rufford Primary School. I enjoy being Head Girl because of the responsibility. I like the idea that I can come up with ways to improve the school. In my spare time I enjoy to read! My favourite books are the Harry Potter series, I find the adventure and mystery very interesting about it. My favourite character is Luna Lovegood because she has a very interesting personality. At school I enjoy a range of subjects equally. This year I want to enjoy my time at the school as it is my last year. I am looking forward to the leaver’s assembly as it will be a good send off and I will be able to spend time with my friends. My main aim of being head girl is to help the children throughout the school. I will be leading clubs for Year 5 teaching them different techniques in art. The work that is produced from this club hopefully will be made into a scrapbook.
